WALKING
From the South by the Art Museum: Walk north along the Schuylkill River Trail on Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park. It is a 1 hour walk. When you see the Strawberry Mansion Bridge in the distance you are almost there!
From the North by East Falls Bridge: Walk south along the Schuylkill River Trail on Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park. It is a 30 minute walk. When you see the Strawberry Mansion Bridge in the distance you are almost there!
SEPTA
Riding SEPTA to the Festival is only for those participating in the Kick Off Processional at Mander Recreation Center at 2pm. Bus routes 7, 32, 39, 54, and 61 stop nearby. PHLASH shuttles will be provided after the Festival back to Mander Recreation Center and downtown Philadelphia. You cannot take SEPTA to the Festival Home Base at 2200 Kelly Drive.
PHLASH
New this year, INVISIBLE RIVER festival attendees will have access to a FREE return service, provided by the PHLASH. After the event and festival’s conclusion, the PHLASH will bring event attendees back to Mander Recreation Center (33rd and Diamond Streets) and Philadelphia Museum of Art (East Entrance).
The free PHLASH return service will be available after the event and festival’s conclusion on Saturday, August 29, between 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. It will begin at the INVISIBLE RIVER Festival home base, located in the parking lot adjacent to the St. Joseph’s University Boathouse, 2200 Kelly Drive, Philadelphia, PA.
The FREE PHLASH Return Service will loop from the Festival’s home base to designated parking areas approximately every 20 minutes, between 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
CAR PARKING
Car parking is extremely limited and it is highly discouraged to drive to the festival! If you need to drive, participants are encouraged to come to the Kick Off at 2pm at Mander Recreation Center at 2140 N 33rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19121, and park their cars in the nearby vicinity. There is no car parking at the Festival Home Base near the Boating Area at 2200 Kelly Drive. PHLASH Shuttles will be provided back to this parking area between 6:30-9pm.
If you cannot attend the processional at 2pm, other parking lots include: The Grandstand on Kelly Drive (approx. 10-15 minute walk to Festival Home Base) and the East Falls Parking lot underneath the Twin Bridges (approx. 25 minute walk to Festival Home Base).
